One of the highlights of staying at The Chalet is its close proximity to the Portes-du-Soleil, one of the largest ski areas in the world, 2 km from the beautiful village of Abondance. Boasting over 650 km of interconnected pistes across 14 resorts—including Châtel, Avoriaz, Morzine, Abondance and Les Gets—ski enthusiasts of all levels will find an abundance of slopes and thrilling challenges right at their fingertips. With skilful instruction available, beginners can learn to ski in a safe environment, while seasoned skiers can explore the extensive terrain and enjoy the stunning alpine scenery.

The Abondance ski resort, perfect for beginners, is 5 min drive from the chalet, 10 min drive to the the Chappelle d Abondance ski lift, and 15 min drive to the Chatel Lingua ski lift (with access to Avoriaz). The skibus to Chatel Lingua, stops in front of the chalet every hour.
